1. The King is gutted.


Former Open Champion winner Louis Oosthuizen has come out saying it will be horrible not playing this years Open in Kent.

Louis Oosthuizen said he feels all the right calls have been made.


"Yeah it's horrible not being able to play the Open. It's a tournament I love but at the end of the day they made the right call," Oosthuizen told BBC World Services.


2. South Africa looks to Sports Minister.


South African Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa says his department is considering allowing golf to return behind closed doors during the current Covid-19 enforced lockdown. Golf RSA and PGA of South Africa have done a lot of work behind the scenes and we can only hope golf will be allowed to continue shortly.

4. From Ace to Double bogey.


Former Major winner Jordan Spieth was denied a hole in one during a charity match due to Covid-19 measures. His 110 yard shot on the 17th flew straight into the cup only to hit the insert and bounce out and roll into the hazzard.


"I'm going to count it. It was one of those where it most likely would have stayed in. Hopefully it's a good omen." Spieth told ESPN.com
